Canadian Ringette Championships 2022 – Calgary
Ringette Calgary is proud to be hosting the Canadian Ringette Championships from April 3, 2022 to April 9, 2022. They are the first championships since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been a difficult time for all Canadians, including the ringette community, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to our beautiful, vibrant, resilient city. We know that the gratitude we feel to resume this celebration of ringette will resonate across the country, reminding all of us of the things that bring us together, and how vastly they outweigh things that divide us.
We look forward to seeing our ringette family together again in April, and we wish you all health, happiness, and great skill for this season.
Thank you from the Calgary Canadian Ringette Championships Host Committee!
All games will be broadcast live on the Ringette Canada YouTube Channel
The Canadian Ringette Championships (CRC) were first held in 1979 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Along with the Canada Winter Games, the CRC event is the very best that the sport has to offer nationally and it serves as a dynamic forum of competition for athletes, coaches, and officials from across the country. The tournament is designed to determine the Canadian champions in the U16, U19, and National Ringette League categories.
As well as determining champions, the tournament provides the athletes with the opportunity to compete at the elite level, encourages sportsmanship and interprovincial goodwill, and increases the visibility of the sport across the country.
Ringette Canada COVID-19 Event Policy
As of March 3rd, 2022, Ringette Canada has amended the vaccination policy for all Ringette Canada led and sanctioned events, including the Canadian Ringette Championships. Volunteers and spectators will not have to provide proof of vaccination to attend the event.
