The Hoop Dance is a storytelling dance from the plains indigenous people. ​It’s a warrior dance and each position depicts an animal, plant or the environment around us.

Tipi Demonstration

​Everything in the Plains Indigenous culture has a story and is connected to mother earth in some way. The Tipi demonstration will tell the story of the Tipi as it was taught to us by traditional knowledge keepers. We will walk you through, pole by pole, the stories and how it relates to the Buffalo.

First Nations Artisans

 Wednesday, April 6th, 9:00am – 2:30pm.

First Nations artisans will be showcasing their talents and treasures.  Come see all of their culture displayed in their crafts and artwork and take home some of their amazing culture.
